Here are my 6 objects. My idea is to create flower pot, however I did not know how to create a bottom layer so there is a hold inside those objects. Just simple design so not really perfect, but I will try my best next time!!
These are ideas for hook, I really like basic design so most of them doesnt look interesting, however it would be useful to hold lots of things. And I think that I will come up with the butterfly one, cause it looks cute, its wings could be useful for hanging bag too.
This blog post is for all of my works during Object Design class 1. Voxel Model First time learning about 3D, using command and so on.. I created a Lavender pot for this very first project. I 2. Castle Japanese castle!! Learn more command and save more time. I did have difficult time while doing this, figure out how to create the roof. It doesn't look like what I want to but I'm happy with my effort. 3. Hollow Form This one is the fun project but I feel like the difficulty has increased because we learned some super confusing commands. I spent lots of time doing this, but its fun. My model that I come up with, I just playing around and BOOM. I never expect to be this good. I did not have my 3D printing of this Hollow with me but I saw it in the 5th floor. Never have this amazing experience before. 4. Coat Hook the sketching is pretty bad cause I really dont know how to work with this, however, as I have more time, I made it better on Rhino and I think...
I chose #1 concept as my final and recreate within Rhino. Although the #2 concept has higher score, I find #1 is easier to make in 3D model, as it would not cause as much materials to print. #1 concept has appeal visually as it has shape of a butterfly, which looks interesting to me. The tail of the butterfly hook can be used to hang things, and its wings have enough depth to hang bags or towels. Its body will have two holes punched and nails will be attached to hold this hook on the wall.
